The popular Safari alternative for iPhone, Skyfire Web Browser, has recently been updated. Now, fans of the application can enjoy improved support for Flash websites, additional social networking support, and a rather good search feature, too.

First up, let’s talk about Skyfire‘s added social networking features. Essentially, four new features have made their way into version 3.0 of the application. They are:

• “Popular Content” – see what website content the Facebook community likes most
• “Fireplace Feed Reader” – quickly access websites, images, and video displayed within your Facebook News Feed
• “Facebook Portal Integration” – access your Facebook News Feed, profile, and Facebook Places, from within the application
• “SkyBar Like Button” – like any webpage you view within the application

One last feature included in the application, is “Skyfire OneTouch Search.” This new search feature allows users of the application to quickly search Google, VideoSurf, and Wikipedia within the app.
