If the above image is anything to go by, Apple may be releasing a white version of the second generation iPad later this year. Obviously, nothing has been confirmed yet – we probably won’t know for sure until March 2, when Apple unveils the iPad 2.
Back when Apple announced the event (the invitations for which bore the line: “Come see what 2011 will be the year of”), I speculated that the massive “2″ could signify more than the fact that this is Apple’s second generation iPad.
Instead, I think the rumors of Apple releasing two separate iPads in 2011 may be true – and this white iPad part could be key to explaining the enigma. Instead of two markedly different iPads, Apple may just release two different versions – one black iPad, and one white.
What do you think?
