Apple Insider points towards a research note from KGI’s Mingchi Kuo, who is said to have a keen knowledge (an “insider’s knowledge,” that is), in which it is claimed that Apple might launch a high definition front-facing camera. Currently, the iPhone 4S – Apple most recent iPhone – features a rather pathetic VGA camera which does the job, but not very well. According to Kuo, the HD camera would “better suit the four-inch display” Apple’s sixth-generation iPhone is expected to feature. Sounds good to be – here’s hoping the iPhone 5 launches with a four-inch display and a HD front-facing camera.
