According to Patently Apple, Apple has filed a patent for a new kind of mobile display that is able to sense the world around it. Apple’s patent outlines a future iOS device that is able to comprehend the “physical and lighting properties of the user’s environment,” and make adjustments accordingly, ultimately resulting in “a more interesting and visually appealing” display.
