Images Of iPad 3 Casing Hit The Web: Bigger Battery, Different Screen And Camera?

The images of an purported iPad 3′s casing has recently hit the Web. Compared with the iPad 2, the new casing appears to suggest a number of things. First, that the new iPad will include a bigger battery. Second, that the iPad’s camera will be different. And third, that the tablet will include a different screen. All three are expected upgrades, though we should note that the bigger battery might just be to account for the extra power consumed by a larger processor and an improved screen. Both iPads are expected to have the same thickness – after all, it would be difficult (and hardly practical) to make the iPad 3 any thinner than the iPad 2, which is already thinner than Apple’s iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. The iPad 3 casings obviously can’t be verified, but they do support the current trend of iPad 3 rumors which have been circulating online.
