Here’s something I didn’t expect to read this morning: Apparently, Apple will release the white iPhone 4 – which has been delayed since last June – “in the next few weeks.” According to the source, the new version will be available with both AT&T and Verizon.
The news comes from Businessweek, who wrote:
Apple Inc. will begin selling a white model of the iPhone 4 in the next few weeks after a 10- month delay, according to three people familiar with the plans.
The new version will be available from AT&T Inc. and Verizon Wireless by the end of April, said one of the people, who asked not to be identified because the plans aren’t public.
Previously, Phil Schiller posted a tweet claiming that the white iPhone would be available this spring. If we’re to believe Businessweek‘s source, it looks like Schiller wasn’t bluffing.
We’ll keep you posted.
